Join us on September 30th to welcome back Jonathan Levy, Director of Biostatistics at Pharvaris, for his talk: "Small Pharma Stats". This talk will take place at 12:00PM at Berkeley Way West, 5th Floor, Room 5401.
Talk description: This will be a survey of a few topics driven by statistics problems within the pharmaceutical industry from the presenter's personal experience.
Bio: Jonathan graduated with a PhD from UC Berkeley under the advisorship of Mark van der Laan in 2019 at the ripe young age of 50. Since then he has worked in the pharmaceutical industry and is presently at Pharvaris, based in the Netherlands (no relation to Mark, just a Dutch kismet, if you will). Jonathan currently keeps Mark in shape by running him mercilessly around the tennis court until he breaks down in tears. He also has a music career as JL Stiles.
