Emilie Højbjerre-Frandsen is an industrial PhD student at Novo Nordisk A/S and Aalborg University, where she is supervised by Claus Dethlefsen and Rasmus Waagepetersen. Her research centers on increasing efficiency in randomized clinical trials within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on optimizing study designs and data analysis techniques. Emilie has a strong interest in bridging the gap between statistical methodologies and practical applications in clinical settings. She was a visiting scholar at the CTML group from February 2024 to February 2025, where she worked closely with mentors Alejandro Schuler and Laura Balzer.
