Jordan Downey

Bio/CV: 

Jordan Downey is a first year PhD student in Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley. She received her MPH from Johns Hopkins in 2019 and her BS in bioengineering from MIT in 2015. Prior to coming to UC Berkeley, she spent three years as a staff data scientist at two health tech startups. She also led research on the impact of community health worker programs in Liberia, Malawi, and Indonesia. Her research interests lie in development and application of statistical methods to evaluate the impact of public health programs, especially in low-resource settings.
