Lauren Eyler Dang, MD, MPH is currently a PhD candidate in Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley, mentored by Mark van der Laan, Maya Petersen, and Alan Hubbard. She leads the JICI working group on Integration of Observational and Randomized Data, which focuses on causal inference and targeted learning methods for designing and analyzing hybrid randomized-real world data studies. Her other research interests include health equity surveillance and improving access to cancer care in low-resource settings.
