Mary Combs

Bio/CV:

Mary is a Ph.D. Student in the Division of Biostatistics in Berkeley's School of Public Health under Mark van der Laan. She earned her Masters in Biostatistics from UC Berkeley's SPH in 2016, and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics in 2008. Mary’s research interests include developing targeted estimators for parameters of interest of semi- and non-parametric models, including model spaces with non-testable assumptions allowing for causal inference. She is also interested in applying existing estimation techniques to observational and longitudinal studies with informative censoring and missing data.
