In-Person Conference at capacity
ACIC 2022 is on track to be the largest causal inference conference ever. Alas, this overwhelming demand means that we have hit capacity constraints on our physical space at UC Berkeley and need to cap in-person registrations. We're actively exploring options for increasing in-person capacity, and will start a waitlist for tickets until we are able to release additional spots in the coming month. Online tickets for ACIC 2022 continue to be available for purchase.
We encourage this year's workshop/conference presenters and discussants to purchase their in-person tickets as soon as possible. However, in-person conference tickets will be available for purchase through April 30, 2022 for this group. Please add yourself to the waitlist and email email@example.com with your role (poster presenter, oral presenter, discussant, etc.) and, if available, your abstract title and number.

Attend one full-day workshop or one half-day workshop or two half-day (1 morning and 1 afternoon session) pre-conference workshop. Each workshop has a maximum attendance, so early registration is encouraged. Pre-conference workshops are intended/designed for in-person participation but remote attendance is available if needed. Registration for pre-conference workshops will NOT be available on-site. All workshops are separately ticketed activities.

About the Sponsors
The Center for Targeted Machine Learning and Causal Inference (CTML) at UC Berkeley is an interdisciplinary research center for advancing, implementing and disseminating statistical methodology to address problems arising in public health and clinical medicine. CTML brings the rigor and power of statistical theory together with advances in machine learning and causal inference to generate robust evidence for advancing health.
Based in Washington, DC, and operating under the auspices of the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, the Forum for Collaborative Research is a public/private partnership addressing cutting-edge science and policy issues through a process of stakeholder engagement and deliberation.
Covid-19 Information & Disclaimer
As members of the campus community, the ACIC Planning Committee is not autonomous in our decision-making, and is subject to UC Office of the President, UC Berkeley, and government guidelines.
The ACIC Planning Committee strongly encourages travelers to purchase refundable or transferable tickets, and is not responsible for travel or other similar costs.
Masks are strongly recommended, but not required, indoors - regardless of vaccination status. N95 masks will be made available.
All participants will be required to adhere to UC Berkeley, UC Office of the President, and local, regional, state, and federal mandates. Failure to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols will result in dismissal from any conference and/or workshop and forfeiture of registration fees.
in-person conference ticket flexibility
Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation between now and the time of the conference, the planning committee would like to provide some flexibility for registrants who choose to purchase In-Person Conference tickets. Up until May 1, 2022, In-Person Conference registrants will have the option of exchanging their ticket for an Online Only Conference ticket for any reason. The difference in ticket price will be refunded, less a $20 processing fee. Please use this form to request this exchange ahead of the deadline.
If you require accommodation for effective communication (ASL interpreting/CART captioning, alternative media formats, etc.) or information about campus mobility access features in order to fully participate in this event, please contact Christina Da Silva at firstname.lastname@example.org with as much advance notice as possible and at least 7-10 days (May 13, 2022) in advance of the event.
