In-Person Conference at capacity

ACIC 2022 is on track to be the largest causal inference conference ever. Alas, this overwhelming demand means that we have hit capacity constraints on our physical space at UC Berkeley and need to cap in-person registrations. We're actively exploring options for increasing in-person capacity, and will start a waitlist for tickets until we are able to release additional spots in the coming month. Online tickets for ACIC 2022 continue to be available for purchase.

We encourage this year's workshop/conference presenters and discussants to purchase their in-person tickets as soon as possible. However, in-person conference tickets will be available for purchase through April 30, 2022 for this group. Please add yourself to the waitlist and email acic@berkeley.edu with your role (poster presenter, oral presenter, discussant, etc.) and, if available, your abstract title and number.

Covid-19 Information & Disclaimer

As members of the campus community, the ACIC Planning Committee is not autonomous in our decision-making, and is subject to UC Office of the President, UC Berkeley, and government guidelines.

In the event that the In-Person portion of the conference is cancelled due to COVID-19, registrants with an In-Person Conference ticket will have the option of either receiving a full refund or exchanging their ticket for a virtual conference ticket.  For the exchange option, the difference in ticket price will be refunded. In the event that both the In-Person and Online Only portions of the conference are cancelled due to COVID-19, all registrants will receive a full refund.

The ACIC Planning Committee strongly encourages travelers to purchase refundable or transferable tickets, and is not responsible for travel or other similar costs.

Masks are strongly recommended, but not required, indoors - regardless of vaccination status. N95 masks will be made available.

All participants will be required to adhere to UC Berkeley, UC Office of the President, and local, regional, state, and federal mandates. Failure to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols will result in dismissal from any conference and/or workshop and forfeiture of registration fees.

in-person conference ticket flexibility

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation between now and the time of the conference, the planning committee would like to provide some flexibility for registrants who choose to purchase In-Person Conference tickets.  Up until May 1, 2022, In-Person Conference registrants will have the option of exchanging their ticket for an Online Only Conference ticket for any reason.  The difference in ticket price will be refunded, less a $20 processing fee.  Please use this form to request this exchange ahead of the deadline.
