Who is most at risk of dying if infected with SARS-CoV-2? A mortality risk factor analysis using machine learning of patients with COVID-19 over time.

This article discusses a conducted prediction using the super learner and variable importance analysis with TMLE on identifying most important risk factors for mortality amongst COVID-positive patients in Mexico. While age is the most important factor, after adjusting for demographic factors, pre-existing conditions such as renal disease, hypertension, diabetes, and obesity contribute largely to an increased relative mortality risk.
